Happy Holidays

Its starting to feel alot like Christmas...

Assignments handed in, Christmas shopping nearly completed and the wrapping has started.

I hosted Christmas dinner at mine tonight for the girls - it ended in ordering 4 large Domino's pizzas. Nom Nom. BBQ chicken of course.

The Christmas crackers were still pulled, the hats worn and the bad jokes told!

And tomorrow at work will be busy busy busy, and its fancy dress, I'm going as a Hippy.

Peace out man

Suit Up, Look Sharp

So me and the sister had a shopping day to Nottingham in the week. It was to start our Christmas shopping, this did not happen. Typical. Haha.

Instead, we shopped for ourselves, and I found my suit for the Christmas Party. Yes. It took all day and we had a lovely lunch. But no Uni work was completed, it has however, taken over my life so a break was needed. And the suit was needed.

Roasted veg, pesto and goats cheese tostada flatbread and some cheeky skin-on fries was what we re-fuelled with at Dogma on Byard Lane, the food was lovely and the service was brilliant.

The suit, wasn't as easy. After all of the shops, we were unsuccessful on finding a suit, other items were purchased... one shop was left and I knew it wouldn't let me down. Toppers, or as its actually called Topshop. We must have been in there for well over an hour, (the Nottingham store is quite big ya know) and I came out with two suits as I couldn't decide! And a nail varnish to add some glitter in my life.

One must go back though. It was a hard decision... the outfit is final and was wore on Saturday where many cocktails were consumed.

Suit and Leotard: Topshop
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
Clutch Bag: Prada

Colour Pop

Blonde, Pink, dip dye, Purple, Blonde.....

I knew the blonde would not stay for long. So Christmas is a coming, new hair? Why not, my amazing cousin came round last week and fixed my roots, finally. But then I thought, lets do something a bit different...

My inspiration:

Me (I went for a more grey look, than lilac):

To maintain, I will wash with a silver shampoo and condition, twice a week... I think a new lipstick is in order.

Organisation and Determination

I am still getting used to this blogging... I have been talking to myself about the content of my next one, yet am struggling to find the time to actually write it and post it. I have been so busy with my University work and working. I work in retail, so December is MENTAL... no holidays, no days off, no illnesses.

Stress, Stress Stress.

December, please slow down.

Christmas is nearly here, that means deadlines, busy at work and Christmas shopping (which I still have yet to start) I have had my Christmas present early, a shiny new Ipad that I am currently using for this blog post. Its pretty, its white, but I have a boring case, well its a professional black leather case. So need to invest in one, maybe leopard print one or dip dye? I need to investigate.

Christmas Season = Christmas Party! My outfit is none existent, due to my life being taken over by my assignments (which I cannot wait to see the back off) but as I drifted away from my work for a second, a matching, patterned suit is what I set my eyes on - 3 days to find it, with a Uni dead line and 3 shifts at work. Bring. It. On. Here's some inspiration...

As you can probably tell, this week and the week before, have been a teeny weeny bit 'ARGH.' But I have my Ipad, (breathe), a hair appointment approaching, (breathe) and my assignment is nearly at the end, even tho I'm over my word count. Typical.

In between work, uni work, work, cleaning, uni work, uni work. I have managed to join a couple more groups on LinkedIn to hopefully help my networking, download some apps which will help with my studies and hobbies and apply for a few graduate jobs! eeeeeee, scary stuff.

Rant finished, or should I say reflective blog post finished?
