Checks on checks on checks.

I have had this blog post drafted now for three weeks, last Saturday I started editing it before the gym, then realised the time and dashed to make my class on time. To my horor, the changes I had made hadn't saved. Since then I have been away with work and visited my friend in London for the weekend - which may I say was amazing, I didn't want to leave!

I really do want to start blogging more though, (I know I have said this before!) but I really do enjoy it and want it to become my hobby, may even tell a few people about it! Ha.

My friend has suggested taking myself away from the flat one evening a week or half a day at the weekend to a cafe (with wifi obvs), have a chai tea latte (my new fav thing) and start, complete and publish a blog post. So I think I am going to try this on Saturday or next week.

Ages ago, I fell in love with this two piece from topshop, but couldn't afford it, so for my birthday my older sisters bought it for me! Aren't they great?

The great things about co-ords are that they obv look amazing together, but you can get your money's worth as you can wear them separately! Since my night out, the co-ord has been worn together again and I have worn the items seperately - the trousers with my fluffly pink jumper and the top with my faithful Topshop Joni Jeans and bomber jacket that I purchased in the Topshop sale about 2 weeks ago! (I literally tie this demin shirt around my waist with everythang!)

Back to the birthday night out outfit, which is where this blog originated from - I decided to have a go at clashing patterns with my leopard print clutch. The shoes didn't look great, as I stupidly only packed one pair of heels and didn't try them with my outfit beforehand, so I had to roll the trousers to wear the heels! Opps, Kinda worked tho?

Two piece: Topshop
Clutch: Monki
Shoes: schuh
Armlet: ebay
Tatoo choker and bracelet: ebay
Rings: h&m and Topshop

A few cheeky drunk shots and selfies with the clique-

Not only does this outfit cover the two piece trend it also covers the 'gingham/ checks' trend for SS14. This was seen from the likes of Henry Holland, Margaret Howell, Meadham Kirchoff, Derkek Lam and Balmain.

Below are some of my favourites and probably what inspired me to like the Topshop Co-ord in the first place!

Moschino:

 Balmain:

And where their inspiration came from...

I bit the bullet and wore it head to toe! How would you wear this trend?

Checkmate.

How I'd wear #1

How I'd wear Bambi...

I saw a Givenchy style sweatshirt in primark. I bought it but then couldn't bring myself to wear it, so returned it.

I would never be able to afford the real thing, But here is how I would wear it...
Sweatshirt: Givenchy
Jeans: Paige Verdugo
Black Trousers: Balmain
Printed Joggers: Topshop
Grey Skirt: J.W Anderson
Tartan Skorts: Topshop
Cream Skirt: Carven
Black Boots: Alien
Trainers: New Balance 574
Heels: Topshop
Bag: Michael Kors
Earrings and Midi Rings: Topshop
Red Lipstick: Lancome
Pink Lipstick: Victoria's Secret

The majority of the above, I also wouldn't be able to afford! ha. However we can all dream of how we would wear these items, especially for inspiration when shopping on the high street and online!

How would you wear yours?

All Black Everythang

So I wanted this jumper from asos and at the time it was reduced. It was added to the many saved items in my saved bag. I went to purchase it two days later and to my horror it had gone back to the original price. This confused me as it was in the sale, not a promotional offer, and I always know when they are ending, so that I don't miss out. But anyway, not long after, there was email informing me students could get 20% off everything. By this point, I have no money left, so my sister ends up buying it for herself, with my permission of course. hehe. She didn't like it on, and instead of just sending it back, I tried it on and loved it even more in real life than on the website. She let me keep it and I owe her the money. Isn't she just the best!

For my first wear, I decided to wear it with some black leather look trousers, but I will be wearing it with everything. It's so versatile - can't wait to throw it over one of my dresses.

Jumper: asos
Leather look trousers: Ark (old)
Reeboks: schuh
Earrings: Topshop
Lipstick: Mac - Amplified Up

Have you got yourself a fluffy jumper yet? If not, there are loads on the high street and online, in all the colours you could ask for... it's a must have.
