This dress never fails me.

I bought this tartan slip dress from Zara absolutely ages ago! I have wanted to do a post on it for a while but just never got round to it. So here it is.

I can't even remember how much it was- maybe £30? Zara surprises me sometimes, I see something and think "ooo but how much is it?" Then I check and when I'm surprised at the good price- I have to buy it there and then! No thinking about it. And I'm so glad I did. Ive worn it loads during the day with a roll neck jumper, I've also worn it out on a casual night out with a tshirt underneath and trainers and then with heels and no tshirt/ jumper underneath- which is a little sexy!!

Here is my day time look - I've teamed it with stripey socks for a sporty touch!

Dress: Zara
Roll neck: Uniqlo
Coat: Armstrong Vintage
Bag: Michael Kors
Reeboks: schuh
Socks: Topshop

How I'd wear #1

How I'd wear Bambi...

I saw a Givenchy style sweatshirt in primark. I bought it but then couldn't bring myself to wear it, so returned it.

I would never be able to afford the real thing, But here is how I would wear it...
Sweatshirt: Givenchy
Jeans: Paige Verdugo
Black Trousers: Balmain
Printed Joggers: Topshop
Grey Skirt: J.W Anderson
Tartan Skorts: Topshop
Cream Skirt: Carven
Black Boots: Alien
Trainers: New Balance 574
Heels: Topshop
Bag: Michael Kors
Earrings and Midi Rings: Topshop
Red Lipstick: Lancome
Pink Lipstick: Victoria's Secret

The majority of the above, I also wouldn't be able to afford! ha. However we can all dream of how we would wear these items, especially for inspiration when shopping on the high street and online!

How would you wear yours?

Hello New Life...

It’s been 14 days, not too bad, I’ve been worse before. However, the last time I was absent, I said I’m going to blog more and this still hasn’t happened. I’m sorry. Once I am settled in my new life, this should start to happen.

This post is being written from the bonnie land of Scotland, in my unglamorous hotel room. My evenings have been taken up by hunting for a flat/ house share in Edinburgh. Scary Shit. I know.

The weekend was kinda fun tho, I visited a couple of places and spent the weekend up and down Princes Street. Learning where all the vital shops, such as; Urban Outfitters, Topshop, Zara and H&M are. I found them all, and unfortunately spent money I don’t have in them all. Typical. No new shoes in a while tho.

I can’t wait to have another ‘recky’ and find some boutique and vintage shops. Also, I hear Glasgow is good for shopping too. Going to have to wait until all my new grown up house/ flat bills are paid until I can visit the streets of Glasgow. I will deffo write a post about any cool shops I find. (and probably the buys too!)

So I haven’t really got any pictures yet, as unfortunately my hotel isn’t in Edinburgh, and when I was there at the weekend, I was dashing about and getting my bearings. I did manage this shot, in-between the rain showers and when the sun decided to shine.

As I am in a hotel, I cannot cook, so I have eaten on my own in restaurants, yes you read correctly! Lol. And the way things are going, I’ll have piled on a few pounds by the time I finally move in to a place, so once I’m settled I need a total detox. The odd night I have done a meal deal, but obv not photo worthy!

Never leave the house, in Scotland, without a rain coat …

Rain coat: George @ Asda
Jumper: ebay
White Dress: Topshop (old)
Rings: Mixture of vintage and H&M

I’ve had my eye on these leather jogging pants, and on Sunday, whilst killing time between flat/ house viewings I decided to purchase them. What a great decision. (Ignore the hotel room!)

Jumper: Zara (sale)
Faux Leather Jogging Pants: Topshop
Vans: Schuh

What’s new with you?

D for denim and D for dungarees.

I have already done a post on dungarees, but it took me a while to actually wear mine. Now I am used to them, I love em and they are my fail safe, throwing them on when I am having a 'don't know what to wear moment.' And don't deny it, we all have these moments, me probably too often. Ha.

So anyway, here's how I wore my dungarees the last two times. Pretty chilled. The weather was so gorgeous, (when these photos were taken, its been a bit hit and miss since then) it meant I could wear sleeveless tops underneath, which I really like and it's comfortable, also avoids T-shirt tan lines!

I have been really busy lately as..... I GOT THE VM JOB I PREVIOUSLY POSTED ABOUT. So I am moving to Scotland. Very scary. Nervous. Excited. Sad. So I have been making plans to move, and seeing my loved ones, as I am going to miss them terribly. We are all going out on Saturday evening and I have a couple of outfit ides. I'm sure i'll post them on here next week.

Back to the point...

Dungarees - Urban Outfitters
Grey sleeveless top - H&M
White sleeveless top - Topshop
Flatform sandals - Topshop (which I impulse bought in the sale, and regretted but now I've actually worn them, I love them. They literally go with everythang.)
New Balance trainers - Schuh
Fishnet socks - Asos
Nike Jacket - Vintage from the shop 'Junk' on Sadler Gate, Derby. If you haven't been in, you must.
Sunglasses - Wild Clothing in Nottingham
Rings - Mixture of vintage, Topshop and Primark

Next post might be from Scotland... eeeeee.....

Short, Sweet and White

Well, how gorgeous is this weather, I personally, AM LOVIN' IT! Lots of typical British moaning on social media, about it being too hot, but then when the sun doesn't want to play, everyone moans... Mr Sun just can't win.

I have lightly burnt my tummy today tho, it was a scorcher... and yes I did have cream on ;-)

Back to the title of this post....

I bought these shorts, absolutely agesssssssssssss ago. But at the time, and weeks after that, we didn't have the weather to permit wearing them. We do now, and according to the weather folk, we have it for the rest of the month... hooray. All tho, with these beauties being white, one wear, then wash.... so who knows how long they will last.

They have been all over the blogoshere... you guessed it, 'The Zara Skorts.'

I originally saw them on Instagram, then they found there way into my wardrobe. These are some of my fav shots. You should deffo check these girls out, they have great style and are amazing fashion inspiration.

I wanted to do the 'all white' thing, but didn't dare, I knew somehow, or someway I would spill something over my all white outfit. So here's what I did...

Skorts: Zara
Tshirt: MHI
Sandals: Topshop
Sunglasses: TKMaxx
Lipstick: MAC - Lady Danger shade
Bag: Michael Kors

I love them, i love them, i love them, I cannot wait to wear them again, maybe dress them up on a night out. O, and I now own them in orange. If they weren't shorts, the length would be too short to wear as a skirt, so they are practical, stylish and flattering. Sold them to you yet?

What would you wear with yours?
